Prof. Dr. Filiz Başkan presented the co-authored paper “Opposition in the Labyrinth: The CHP’s Search for Strategy and Deadlocks in the Contest for Power,” prepared with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serhun Al, in the panel “In Memory of Fuat Keyman: Foreign Policy, Democracy, Cities, and Coexistence in a Changing Türkiye.”

The co-authored study by Prof. Dr. Filiz Başkan, Tolga Çevik, Ada İlyada Utkucu, and Mustafa Murat Uluer, “A Mirror of the People? A Cross-Gender Perspective on the Visual Performance of Populist Leaders,” was presented in the panel “Faces of Populism: Discourse, Performance, and the Search for a Common Framework.”

In the same panel, İrem Dumlu Taylan presented her paper, “The Discursive Construction of Syrian Refugees in the Context of Civilizational Populism (2014–2025).”

Aslıhan Olçum presented the paper “The Military-Industrial Complex in Türkiye: Techno-nationalism and the State's Identity Construction,” co-authored with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serhun Al, in the panel “Sovereignty, Security, Responsibility: Rethinking State–Society Relations in Türkiye.”
