Our faculty member Prof. Dr. Çiğdem Kentmen Çin and Dr. Nil Dikmengil have published their article, “European Public Support for EU’s Policy of Welcoming Ukrainian Refugees: Realistic and Symbolic Group Threats,” in the Journal of Immigrant & Refugee Studies.
The study examines how economic conditions, security concerns, identity, and cultural proximity shape public support for the EU’s policy of welcoming Ukrainian refugees.
