Ogan Yumlu's New Article Published in Third World Quarterly
Faculty member of IUE Political Science and International Relations, Dr. Ogan Yumlu's co-authored article, "The Alevis and Roma/Gypsy in Turkey: republican freedom revisited," was published in Third World Quarterly.
By focusing on two minority groups, the paper discusses the prospects and limitations of the republican theory of freedom as an analytical tool for analysing Turkey’s state of rights and liberties.
