Devrim Sezer and Murat Borovalı participated in 'Political Philosophy Meetings'
Faculty members of IUE Political Science and International Relations, Devrim Sezer and Murat Borovalı, participated in the first 'Political Philosophy Meetings' hosted by the Department of International Relations at Istanbul Bilgi University with their presentations.
Devrim Sezer presented a paper on coming to terms with the past in the context of epistemic injustice. Murat Borovalı participated in the conference with a paper on John Rawls' theory of justice as a liberal critique of the welfare state.
The conference was attended by academics from many universities on 31 May and 1 June at the Central Istanbul campus. The meetings, designed to bring together academics working in political philosophy, are planned to be organized every two years.
