The annual conference of the ECHOES project, funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 program, took place in Trondheim with the organization NTNU, Norway's one of leading universities.
Faculty member of our department, the head of the graduate shool our university and head of Sustainable Energy Department, Dr. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Efe Biresselioğlu attended the panel with Tiina Koljonen from VTT; Dr. Christian Klockner, Jed Cohen from JKU and Mark Van Stiphout from the European Commission to discuss the parameters and factors determining energy preferences in Europe,
Prof. Dr. Biresselioğlu, who also led the largest business package of the ECHOEs project, spoke on factors affecting energy preferences of the macro level policy makers and the collective decision-making mechanisms.
