Filiz Başkan attended the "ECPR 2019 General Conference"
Faculty member of department of Political Science and International Relations, Prof. Dr. Filiz Başkan, participated in the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR) 2019 General Conference held at the University of Wrocław. Prof. Başkan presented her paper titled “The Challenge of Turkey’s Opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) in a Dominant Party System” on 6th of September. In addition, Prof. Başkan discussed two papers presented in the panel titled “Perspectives on Political Parties I” on 5th of September. ECPR, which will celebrate 50th anniversary of its foundation, is a leading community that represents students and senior academics of leading universities who are involved in the research and teaching of political science. ECPR’s General Conference draws attention as being Europe’s largest annual gathering of political scientists.
