Dr. Devrim Sezer at Good Design Izmir Public Lectures: “Memory Debates in Türkiye”
Faculty member of the IUE Political Science and International Relations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Devrim Sezer participated in the “Public Lectures” series organized as part of the 10th anniversary gathering of Good Design Izmir, themed “Dirlik” (Vitality).
In the lecture, where memory debates in Türkiye were addressed, the event turned into a lively and interactive gathering with the participation and questions of the audience. Aiming to open academic work to society, “Public Lectures” were held on the Bergama Ferry at Konak Pier for eight weeks. We wish for the continuation of this series, organized for the first time this year through the creative initiative of Research Assistants Hande Yıldız Çekindir, Ali Rıza Bayrak, and Arda Çolakoğlu from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design.
