About Us

The Department of Political Science and International Relations curriculum is comprised of four major fields: international relations, comparative politics, political thought and Turkish politics. The curriculum is  interdisciplinary in nature and incorporates fields such as history, law, philosophy, sociology, geography and anthropology. Among the areas of research that our department specializes in are European Union studies, international organizations, foreign policy, political economy, democratization, public opinion, human rights and social justice, migration and citizenship. The students and alumni of our program carry a sophisticated world view, strong scientific knowledge and are open to wide career opportunities.
